Bathroom mould and condensation, answered plainly

Why does the black mould on my bathroom ceiling keep coming back?
Because cleaning removes what you can see, not the wet air and cold surfaces that grew it. Every shower puts a lot of water vapour into a small room. If it isn't removed effectively, it condenses on the ceiling, the silicone, the window and the coldest corners — and the mould returns in the same places. Damp Solve changes those conditions so it stops coming back.
I clean it, spray it and repaint it — why isn't that enough?
Cleaning and mould sprays deal with the growth that's already there, and repainting hides the staining. Neither changes how much moisture is in the room or how long it stays there. On a recurring problem the mould comes back through the paint within weeks or months.
Do I need to know which ventilation system I need?

What if it isn't condensation?
Then we'll say so. Recurring mould can also come from a plumbing or roof leak, water getting in from outside, cold bridging or missing insulation. We won't fit a fan to cover up a leak or a building defect.
Is mould in the bathroom actually a problem?
It's a sign the room is holding too much moisture. Left alone it usually spreads — across the ceiling, into the silicone and grout, onto the window reveals, and eventually into paint and plaster that then needs making good.
